Kara Street Mock Rock Wall

IN APRIL 2018, GROUND STABILISATION DESIGNED AND ERECTED AN ARCHITECTURAL MOCK ROCK WALL FOR A RESIDENTIAL CLIENT.

This architecturally designed mock rock wall was built to a stringent design code to meet council regulations.

The client required a design which enabled them to gain a flat backyard for the children to play in. Taking all this into consideration with noted wall issues from a sloping block, the existing retaining wall, and neighbouring properties, GSS installed a structural shotcrete wall with 8m micropile clusters and soil nails.

The 200mm thick shotcrete had numerous drainage systems incorporated into it with a mock rock look for aesthetics.
